At 10 am may duty ako sa CCP (Cultural Center of the Philippines)
The title of the show was "Apples from the Desert"
This show was also staged yesterday at the same venue (Tanghalang Aurelio Toletino also known as Little Theater)
Bago pa kami magbriefing, which is part of our 3-Quarter Rota, may naririnig na akong
not so good things about the show yesterday.
The show was sponsored by the Lyceum, basically, the audience were Lyceans.
Maingay daw ang mga audience, they were screaming during intervals, and their "wooos!" every time the scene gets a BIT sensible. And also during intervals e nilalabas nila ang mga cellphones nila to check for message or to text someone, na animo'y mga alitaptap na kumukurap kurap sa dilim! To think na merong cellphone advisory before the show.
"We would like to request members of the audience to please turn off their cellphones 'coz it might interfere with the theater sound equipment. Thank you."
Ganian! hindi man sakto e ganian ang sinasabi ng voice over.
I was trying not to believe. Pushing myself that they are just exagerating what had happen. I was technically defending Lycean against my logical thinking. Because simply for the reason of I too, is a LYCEAN.
Moment of Truth.
30 minutes before the show nagstart na kami magpapasok ng audiende. This is called "Open House" in theater jargon.
At first they look okay. they follow our CAMADA. (I'm not sure of the spelling but that's how we say it, it means pushing the audience to occupy every vacant seat for we are expecting for Full House. Full House is another theater jargon which means that all tickets are sold.) Aside from the unevitable murmurs you will be hearing in all audience not only in Lycean audience.
My trust on what I believed in had starting to break through the moment I saw this Lycean CROSS-OVER the seats! My God tinapakan nia pa yung armrest! the last time nakita ko na may gumawa nun ay sa PICC sa mga intsik. that event pinaguusapan na namin ang kawalang manners ng mga chinese. and it shows. A Lycean did it. SHAME! ibig sabihin wala din TAYO manners?! damn.
Isa pa, nung tntry namin sila iCAMADA i heard one of them telling her friend
"Ano ba naman 'toh andaming bawal. Hindi naman namin gusto panuorin 'toh e!"
Bonggang nakakahiya! halatng inosente sa theater! my GOD! buti nalang ako lang nakarinig!
When all of them stood for the National Anthem e nagpapaingayan ng lagapak ng upuan ang mga sira ulo.
LYCEANS ARE THE WORST AUDIENCE YOU'LL EVER HAVE!
I HAVE PROVEN LYCEANS ARE THE WORST!!

Even if she is feeling like the scum of the earth, she will never let you know. This is the girl who is afraid of love, because she has already lost so much.
